Can anyone confirm what I should expect to see fitted to a 1984 YPVS LC2/31k please
My understanding was the the waisted stanchions fitted to the 83 model were replaced with non waisted ones for the 84 model.
Yambits don't seem to know and are saying that the waisted forks were fitted to all LC2 31k years (which I'm sure isnt correct) and don't sell the non waisted version for the 84 model.
The ones I've removed from my 84 are non waisted and don't want to replace with incorrect versions.
Any links or info would be helpful, I've also asked Norbo
Thanks

For what it is worth, I've never seen a LC2 with non-waisted forks, I didn't realise they made them like that for 1984.
The parallel (non-waisted) ones that Yambits sell are presumably longer because they are intended to be fitted to the F1/N1 model 31k that was introduced in 1985(?).

The ones I have fitted are the correct length and are non waisted. I also have a early 31k 83 with waisted and then another Rz350 84 with the correct length non waisted stanchions. I'm fairly sure I've read somewhere that this is correct but for the life of me can't remember where I read it!

Nothing to add, except that I always think the waisted stems are a classic feature of an LC2, its a shame Yam removed them for 84. I'd probably build an 84 with them cos i like them... dont tell the restorers lol
