You can get paint that looks like chrome cost a fortune to get it done thow.

my dad had a polished ally fuel tank on his old norton cafe racer till a roof slate blew off n fell on it just thought id share that useless bit of info wif ya ;D

chrome always looks nice , but not very practical on a fuel tank , imagine the dazzle you'd get on a sunny day Yes but you would be able to see the pigs in the sky befor they pig you to a car behined you.

i never laquer n e of my polishing :-/think it dulls it and then the laquer will eventually start peelin off.all i do is give the polished bit a quick rub over with autosol once a month n that keeps the furring off the alloy
