Send me £1000 cash, and I can make the problem go away I get them too - started fairly recently - seem worst if looking at the forum with my phone ? I guess it's a ProBoards thing ? Maybe Norbo knows ?

I use a PC browser only to view this site and do not see any adverts at all. If you use a browser on a PC then try uBlock Origin. I use it with Firefox and it works perfectly and also allows you to view YouTube without adverts or it being blocked due to using an adblocker.
It's auto-updated regularly and therefore can keep up, most of the time, with websites using different ways to block you or bypass an adblocker to show adverts.

Mac, chrome and ublock origin = no ads for me.
Same setup without being signed into google and you'll have zero youtube ads as well...

It did for one night. Next day it was so slow to load anything...so I turned off adblock and it worked.

That should be fixed now. It is a bit of an arms race between YT and the ad blocker extensions, but I've found UBlock Origin consistently works.

This is a little off the point but may interest some of you who watch YouTube on a TV. If you have an Android-based streaming device, for example, Firestick or Nvidia Shield then Smarttube and Smartube Beta are the best apps to use. Smarttube Beta gets updated very regularly and then gets passed over to Smartube for updates when all is running well.
I use both and I get no adverts and it skips all intros and any ads that pop up during play for example halfway through a link etc. Much better than streaming via phone to TV.
