Hi mellow, not been down your neck of the woods yet, just been tooling around my local area, just making sure everything's ok on the bike as it hasn't been used properly for a while due to weather 'n' crap roads. Gave it a good run down the A2 a few weeks back, just to see what it would do, froze my nads off only to discover that i think the speedo lies like a cheap japanese watch!! Did you say You got a connection in canterbury? give us a heads-up next time your'e around and i'll try to meet you somewhere mate. Cheers. gadget.

If that was mine in that condition and standard I would keep her as she is, maybe a brake & pipe upgrade and fettle with her but give it a few years and I bet that will go up in price, wont be many standard 350F2 left.

The only one I've seen that good was Andy's (Powervalve350) over in Hull.... Very nice, Strat.

Thanks for all the kind words chaps, it has goodridge lines already, any mods i do will be purely 'bolt-on' so i can change it back to standard if i wish apart from maybe the Roberts paint job. The pipe mod will be done to a spare set (assuming i can find some good ones to start with) as mine are pretty much mint, so i don't want to butcher them. Also going to do a single seat mod, (again to another seat) so i can keep mine standard. When the motor needs looking at i shall probably go for a mild tune at the same time as the re-build. I really like the F2 as is but want to put my mark on it, it's a delicate balance between a few non-permanent subtle modifications and being kept as Mr. yamaha intended if you get my drift.

That's a real nice F2, Gadget I'm glad to hear you're not going to do anything drastic with it. What's that on the front brake caliper? Is it the Yamaha tuning fork logo?

Hi scruff, eagle eyes yer have there mate, yeah, they are the domed tuning fork badges in black and silver, i quite liked them and they fit in with my 'non permanent mods theme' ;D Got a carbon fuel cap cover on it at the moment but to be honest i don't like it much so it's going to get binned soon, probably get a new cap as the original is a bit tarnished and the key flap spring is goosed, had a TZR a while back and that went the same too, must be a YAM thing. Hope to get some more pics on later if anyone wants to see'em.

Hi all again, managed to get another photo on, not quite got the hang of this 'photo bucket' thing yet. still trying to find away to get more than one pic at a time in the same post. No more info on the bike though other than previously posted. If anyone can give me the 'idiots guide' in great step by step detail on how to use photo bucket properly it would be very much appreciated. Thanks all for previous comments on bike, still looking for some v. good pipes for above project (ie: no dents / grazes if anyone can help?

Stunning bike gadget to nice to muck about with. If you want to change the painwork, can't you get another set of bodywork. Idiot guide to photobucket. Write your text or what ever then return key a couple of times to give you a small gap, then go into photobucket. Left click IMG code which will highlight it, move curser up to the picture, right click & the drop down bar comes up, left click on COPY. Go back in to your post, slide the curser down next to where the picture is going to go, right click and hit PASTE on the drop down bar. The code for that picture will then appear. Hit return key a couple of times to give you a gap then do the same again.

Nikfubar, Thanks for the kind words mate, yep did think of doing a set of replacement panels, might even use the glass fibre panels being offered on e'bay, seem to be v. good quality and a decent price, as they will be a spare / replacement set it doesn't matter about a graphics change. 'killing two birds with one stone' it's all down to cost and time at the moment. Must admit that my camera makes the bike look a little better than it really is, there are a few bit'n'pieces that need attention but thet'll get sorted as it goes along. Thanks for the photo bucket info mate, as soon as i get a chance to take some more decent / detailed pics, i'll give it another go. Cheers everyone for all the advice and help, very much appreciated. ;D
