Nice project! What's the plan? I'm still finding my way around projects like this as I'm not a trained mechanic and have only started working on my own stuff in the last couple of years. I got this one for a great price so I might rebuild, get it running well and then move it on (I have a few 31ks). Just trying to learn more as I go and enjoy the restoration process. Found some nice bonus items that came with it also! White Power shock and a set of brand new Two Stroke Addicts pipes. Also found a brand new programable Zeeltronic ignition which one of mates has made use of. flic.kr/p/2psjtTHflic.kr/p/2psjtUeflic.kr/p/2psqMRr

Made a start sorting out all of the crap that was in boxes to try and establish what's there and what's not but I'm probably not going to really know until I get into it. Going to stick with the yellow on black look so have spent first few hours sorting the swinging arm and dog bones. Spent a while replacing bushes, bearings and seals and got a few of the final bits power coated to match the arm. Done the same with front and rear wheels, bearings and seals all done and new Avons with new valves fitted. Aiming to have it rolling early next week if I can. flic.kr/p/2psjMe9flic.kr/p/2psjMdYflic.kr/p/2psr5YT Also fixed the speedo drive as it was in bits and missing some internals

Wheel bearings and seals done New chain guides thanks to Alan Kelly Should be able to torque everything up now Waiting on a couple of bits for the front before I button that up. Hopefully can hit the carbs, cables and loom next week flic.kr/p/2puCQYh

Slow progress as only managed to spend a few hours on it due to family distractions. Replacement loom fitted and a few other bits done. Carbs and air box to go in next flic.kr/p/2pwSwQgflic.kr/p/2pwXWie

Does flickr do a link to imbed/post pics on forums? I think more people would comment if the pics were shown in the thread is all.

A bit late now, but can you fit the airbox now the engine's in? Not sure with a PV. Always the first things I fit on a rebuild.

Did it a few times on the last one. Just wanted to be able to set out the cables and loom without being too cramped. Everything's loose until the air box and carbs go in and I'll then tighten and tie the loom up
