because i used to have 125's which where 33 bhp then i passed my test and thought there was no point in only having 33 bhp. or do you mean just buy the kit then take it off?

Just becasue a 125 is de-restricted does not make it an instant 33bhp, it takes a lot of work to get that power out of a 125. A lad i know brought a restricted 600 hornet, removed the restrictors and wrote it off that day. lost his licence and got into all sorts of problems with the law. Its not also down to a max of 33bhp but its also done on a power to weight ratio. IMO not worth the risk

one of the local lads round my way had a 33bhp restricted gsxR 400 and it made very little difference when it was finaly de-restricted so you might not notice a great deal on a 350lc,saying that is a known fact that some bike dont respond well to being restricted for example r6's can run very rough with a 33bhp restrictor kit.

ye i know what your saying, but going from a gsxr with 100 bhp to a 33 bhp bike dont seem like much fun in my eyes lol. i think as long as your careful and dont be stupid on the bike i dont see a problem with not having it restricted, aslong as you dont get caught obviously

If you kill someone mate your insurance wont pay out and you will get locked up, i know it sounds OTT but it only takes a kid to run in the street, loads of lads round here are getting nicked for unrestricted bikes now, be warned.

Yes but in an acsident the insurance company wont dyno the bike to see what BHP its puting out to see if its insured they will just want to see the paper work saying its 33 or less . so that would not bother me at all .
Id just tack a washer in the down pipes then remove it after the test and you have the paper work .
