Been using Silkolene Comp 2 injector oil in my PowerValves for the last 30 years but thinking of trying Exol synthetic racing 2 stroke oil.
Wondering how many of you guys are using it and can you recommend it?
At £29.99 for 5 litres it's certainly much better value for money and looks to be the same spec as the Silkolene.

I use it, but only as pre-mix in the tank.... :-)

I've not read anything bad about it, not on here or any other forum, Its a shame I cant get it down here in New Zealand, instead of paying $40 per bottle for motul 710 I have played with the idea of importing a large amount of the exol stuff at once but it never really works out after shipping.

Much better than what we bought in the 80's.

You will probably get bored with the number of thumbs up that you get for this oil. Used it in all my two strokes for over ten years and no complaints whatsoever. Really good value high spec oil so if your in the UK, why buy anything else.

Oh, one last question, I assume it's ok to add the Exol straight to my oil tanks full of Silkolene Comp 2............ just checking!🤔😁

I'd drain as much out of the tank as possible then fill with the new stuff and hope whats left in the lines isn't an issue.

I’ve used it for years, buy it in the 20ltr tubs as at times I’ve had 8 smokers at times, was c.£65 last time I purchased so very economical.

Another thumbs up for Exol full synth, get it in 20 litre drums. Used in Juniors crossers, 65,85,125 looked good during routine rebuilds and now running his KTM 250TPI on it, run my KTM 250 EXC for last 200 hours of enduro use, and up to now 3000 miles in the 350LC. LC was stripped at 500 miles after its initial rebuild to get dodgy re-line porting remedied, bores and pistons all perfect.

I've never used the Exol for no other reason than I just default to Silkolene.
Out of interest what does it smell like?

Just a question , how long does it last in its container ? . As if I buy 5 litres that will be a few years before I use it all. I know , I know I should just ride my bikes more.
