I was there!!! I used to go every year for the years it was on. I remember seeing Freddie Spencer for the first time in the UK on his Yamaha when he was just 19 years of age, he was quite a revelation at the time.
I got Roger Marshall's autograph on the program that year.
I also remember Dave Aldana with his skeleton leathers.
