Anyone going? Basically a Classic Bike Trackday with other stuff going on as well. I usually go at least once a year to look at moving and non-moving bikes, talk about bikes/drink beer and live in a tent for a couple of nights but not been so far this year. I'm not 100% committed to going myself yet. It was going to be a car trip but one of the rear brakes has jammed up on mine and I can't get it looked at until Monday so if I go it'll be on the VFR. If it was a forecast like last weekend it would be an easier decision. last night the website said zero % chance of rain until 4pm, it rained five minutes after setting off at 7am this morning. What a bag of $hite .

Great pics! That yellow 500's build thread was on this forum a while back. Mouse O.K. I didn't know that. I'll search it out. He was parked up opposite me on the campsite. I spent a lot of time talking to him over the weekend. Really nice guy. Unfortunately it wasn't running great and went onto three at one point. A new plug got it back on four but a suspected head gasket leak ended his riding. We went in the marque for a few beers and listen to Mick Grant, Alex George and Ian Simpson. It was a great night. There were a few FZ750's there. I saw one with standard paint. For a moment I thought it was yours. After a while it came back to me that yours was blue! I'm pretty sure there were only two LC's there. The white/blue one and an all yellow or maybe green one. I just saw the second one go past while I was walking in the paddock. Probably one of the most under represented bikes in the paddock considering how many are about. I didn't see a YPVS.

So, this was the 'Classic Bike Trackdays' event?
Yes, i believe the 500 owner has another more standard version as well, think 'Practical Sportsbikes' did a feature on it a while back, the owner is a pilot.
I was going to go with the FZ and maybe an LC too, but was too late in booking!! Some friends went, one with a Seeley G50 and one with a heavily modded Katana.
Hope to next year do some 'CBT' days with the FZ, similar age bikes, although she does ok against much more modern stuff on normal trackdays!

They've added the "Moto" bit to the end. I've done a few and they are really well run events. I went to a few of the Cadwell ones as a spectator/drinker/eater and then did some with the RGV, it's why I originally bought it. They added a few extras to this one and put a £15 weekend admission charge on it. I thought it was quite reasonable. I'm pretty sure you would enjoy it and the bike would fit right in. There is a mixture of really fast ex-racers and people getting on the track for the first time. Take any Honda ex race bike, even just a painted replica and you could be out on track with Mick Grant, Alex George and Ian Simpson. I was talking to him about his flying. He retired earlier this year.
