Never buy a bike on impulse.
January, ordered a new 850 Tiger Sport, it came in March and just couldn’t get along with it. The bike is….or was rather, great overall. (No demos were available)
But….and here is the rub, last year went to have Forza scoot serviced and was given a courtesy bike, CB1000R which obviously left its mark on me. A dilemma of having a new bike which wasn’t what was expected, I went looking and it was then I thought and saw the CB650…. Sales suggested to ride both, CB650 and the Thou’.
So, a CB1000R is here. Back to a decent litre engine again, lesson learned.

Never ridden the CB Thou, but my modern bike is a Ducati Streetfighter V4S and I definitely prefer the naked bike thing..

Did you go all the way and get the top of the range? Isn’t there 2 models/specs? I think they look lovely.

Did you go all the way and get the top of the range? Isn’t there 2 models/specs? I think they look lovely. There are two different models, standard and Black Edition which has a lot of bits on it. But …. I went for the standard and as a deal breaker, the dealer offered two additional packs which brought it to almost the top Black Edition spec. So it has quick shifter, heated grips, rad guard, rear seat delete, rear peg delete, but all standard parts supplied too. So far, so good.
