Hi all
Iam building a hybrid using a meta swing arm and GSXR400 rear wheel.
I have a new 525 chain & rear renthal 44 tooth sprocket in my surplus pile could this be used if I buy a front smaller sprocket to offset ratio or would it be too big ?
Thanks Alan

525 chain is wider and 44t sprocket too big unless you can get an 18t front sprocket
GS500 rear sprocket is same pattern, 520 and 39t. Cheap as chips
SV650 race sprocket is 41t and alloy

I'm running a 41t SV on my 385 with 17 inch rear and it's undergeared (115mph on rev limiter)
I just haven't got round to swapping it for a 39t GS one
This is all as long as it's a GSXR 400 GK76 wheel
You will most likely have to get the sprocket carrier turned down to get a decent chain run. There is plenty of meat to remove
Bandit 400 carrier is same fitment but 5mm less offset
GS500 is less again

Steve
Its a GSXR 400 GK76 rear wheel and I have a bandit carrier for it too so should be good to go / will be mocking it up as soon as wheels back from power coat

That should be near then
Unless I had a wrong carrier off ebay on the last LC I did I still needed 5mm machined off the bandit one
These hybrids can be strange. Like LC hybrids with rgv arm sometimes need a 4.5mm offset and sometimes a 9mm

Think some of the GS rears may have an offset on the outer side so can be flipped to remove 2mm offset or so
