Thanks for posting, some good memories there. I think I did more miles on 250 strokers, than any other capacity. I remember my RG250MK1 barely hitting a ton and a friends 4L1 almost keeping with it in a straight line. The Gamma had utterly sublime handling and brakes in the day too. I rode a demo VJ21 from Suzuki, Kidlington and that was quite an eye-opener at the time. Such a big step on from the RG and also the 1KT TZR. I used a new VJ22 for commuting for many years. Loved that thing. This KR1-S is the only bike that I really regret selling. It was setup beautifully and absolutely flew. I also had a number of RS250, but preferred the Japanese bikes really.    |
