Is it just me, or are they just a bit boring? Where is the Moto 3 replica?

I Don't like em either,it's the styling like when they made the street twin 900's etc
A Chinese/Indian copy of a Triumph,cheapo and nasty
Scrambler could be made into something interesting and a 40bhp engine sounds good with 90mpg ?

About the same hp as a good RD400, and a lot heavier. YAWN

Oh how we have progressed, 39hp and 180kg/396lb and they call it a decent slug of power. Interesting they used the word slug . We must be talking about a 1978 Z400? I'd be impressed if it did 90mpg without staying under 50mph.

I was out with a chap yesterday, with a new Enfield 411cc Himalayan. It makes 24.3 horses.
My 1980's SRX400 makes 33.
That's some lack of progress for 400cc 4 stroke singles.

Maybe a lot of the target buyers are not interested in what we like. The 400cc market is massive in Asian countries.
You dont need a lot of speed in a city driving from one coffee bar to another with your pisspot and dressed like Steve McQueen. This is a complete U turn from the original cafe racers of the 60's

I imagine there will be quite a bit of interest in the 400cc bracket with the under 24's as they are limited on capacity of bikes they can ride, a lot of the early 20's round me have the 390 KTM's and Kawasaki 400's, another option for their age group I'd say.
