I would expect mixed opinions regarding another 4-Stroke RD replica from Velocity Moto but I have to say this latest homage to the RD500LC based on a >2022 XSR900 is pretty smoking π

I like it, seen the video clip on Facebook. Cannot see if exhaust come out through the seat tail or not, the only other thing looks as though bars could do with being lower. The colour scheme is also iconic, maybe thatβs why it looks so cool

I think what youre seeing Rich is that the fairing is too low cos of the light or some such compromise like that.
From the front I keep thinking FJ1200 or Diversion or something like that...? Anyone else seeing that?
The back is a bit VFR?

What I don't quite understand with these replicas is that when the original bikes were being being rolled out of the showrooms, we were modifying them to not look standard.

I think it looks great all except for the headlight, something just isn't right with the round light in a rectangular hole for me. If they could source a rectangular light to fit the fairing aperture, it would be spot on.

Exactly my thought, why not fit a headlamp that looks right, everything else is nice and it looks great apart from the headlight which for me ruins it.

The more i look at these replicas and knowing how good the engine is (I have a Tracer 9GT), the more they appeal to me......
