Hi guys,
I’ve just joined the crankcases on my YPVS rd350r. Everything all torqued up correctly and I was just congratulating myself on a job well done when I realised I’ve put the washer on the clutch actuating arm above the spring rather than below it (against the seal)!!!!!
Bit of a newb question but should I undo all the torqued crankcase bolts to move the washer or will that cause the crankcases to seperate and damage the seal on the mating surfaces…….Or can i just undo the one bolt that retains the arm. …….Or shall I just leave well alone.
Any advice gratefully received.
Cheers
Jim

Just undo the one bolt mate The main part that needs to be sealed is the crank which is bolted on the bottom nuts Matt 🐻

Just make sure you use the torque wrench to tighten it up. This sort of thing happens all the time. The club has a huge membership!

Defo not a problem to redo this one bolt, I once swapped all the case bolts and nuts one at a time to freshen them up like this with no problems.
