I'm supposed to be working on a stairwel in my house, but after doing some prep work on my Bakker bike i thought i would first take a drink and watch some you tube and found this.
Ive driven the V Max which i really liked but the bike i drove kept shimmying around 120 mph on the motorway.

Interesting and as he says his opinion. I wouldn’t say that the Lc as an honourable mention should be on there. Neither the x7/x5 I’ve ridden a few and owned an x5 thought they were cracking bikes. Agreed with the 750 turbo having nearly crashed one. The v max was a terrible bike my younger brother had one and again he nearly crashed his a few times trying to keep up with me on my gsxr1100wp. It was quick it didn’t handle but the weight and the crap brakes conspired against it. The Quasar wasn’t as bad as made out the designer as I’ve mentioned before Malcolm newell was a family friend. And his son in law had the only two stroke version made a Ypvs one. It was a good sustained cruiser but not a sports bike. Loved the opening with the Lc being ragged everywhere.

Tim that's more or less my thoughts about the X5 and X7 as i've ridden both. A class mate at eveening shool had an X7 and he would show a clean pair of heels to us all wether it was an LC or a Z650 but this was on cornish roads and he was an exceptional rider and high ranking moto cross racer.
The Film Maker clearly loves his LC's

Cornish roads you don’t need anything bigger esp down south. I’ve been down to my family there and anything big is a waste unless you’re on the A30-38. Plus when the tourists are about you’re double buggered.

My college buddy had an X7, I likened it to a scolded cat with Fiery Jack smeared on it's testicles.

It was safer to ride fast at night because you could see the headlamp glare above the hedges and stone walls.

I reckon quite a lot of this is a subjective list, tho of course a few are well know to be problematical.
Talking of subjective... Personally I found the early R6 to be horrible to ride, in the 24hours and about 400miles* with one I nearly binned it jumping a hump back bridge (huge tank slapper on landing) near my home (Swindon) and outbraked myself just outside Matlock and ended up going thru the (luckily) open gate into a field on a summers evening. It had horrible suspension that pattered like crazy on the Fosseway near Stow where the road was quite lumpy. All that could have been fixed with a few adjustments and some better riding lol. I'd not make a video saying the R6 was some kind of widow maker, but it nearly did for me lol.
* - A demo that was loaned to me when my R1 went in for its free 1st service. And yes I did get stick about how many miles I'd put on it, but I needed to go to a customer site for work lol
Plenty of people exceeded their ability on LCs, but thats cos we were young n dumb. Most times when you met your mates you chatted about the close shaves youd had since you last saw em and a few people you knew hurt themselves badly or worse on their bikes at that age.
I will agree that the TL1000R had a handling flaw with that shock setup and there is a huge reputation out there with the KH750 etc. Most of the bikes listed tho Ive never ridden, but Ive managed to crash all sorts over the years, mostly by trying to exceed my abilities... maybe its just the 'nut behind the wheel' thats the 'terrifying' bit?

Never thought I'd see a CX on that list 🤣
