I tell ya, as 99% of us on here, you had one when you were a kid,saw one when you were a wee bit older, bought it as a basket case, poured your heart and soul into it and it only cost a few hundred quid ( that you remember ) and now you're the proud father, but to buy one and sell somebodys toil and at such a stupid markup, the new owners only connection with the bike will be nothing but financial,,,, time for another can of redstripe, excuse me gents,

Yeah like has been said before, the price the dealer paid was about a grand too much !. And it's not even got matching numbers He was asked by someone on the yamaha-rd site if it had matching numbers and he answered by saying that they didn't have matching numbers from the factory lol ;D ;D So I asked him myself stating that I knew they should be and he replied saying that it was sold !!!!, which a week later it clearly isn't. Lying b..................

I notice he has no feedback on ebay!
Still, hopefully it'll push the value of everyone elses up!

I owned this bike a few years ago and was totally amazed to see it up for so much money on eBay, so I thought that I would have a bit of fun and ask them if it had matching numbers to try warrant that sort of asking price. (Fully knowing that it didn’t)
This was the answer that I received from them.
MATCHING 4L0 FRAME AND ENGINE BUT YOU MEAN SOMETHING LIKE 1002345 AND THEN 1002345, THEY NEATHER CAME OUT LIKE THIS, NO JAP BIKE DOES, WHEN THEY SAY HAS IT GOT MATCHING NUMBERS THEY ARE TALKING IS IT 4L0 FRAME AND 4L0 ENGINE WHICH IS WHAT OUR BIKE IS.
Nearly laughed my head off at this answer, looking down at my Lc’s matching numbers however to the unknowing potential buyer this is quite a serious load of ‘horse poo’ and can only render there company as total con artists just trying there hardest to sell it!
Makes you wonder what there other bikes are like!
