Interesting being a euphemism? I kind of get the idea and the premise for it. Bloody expensive though for a tiny range, poor performance and no sense that it’s a living breathing machine (which I always romantically think of with petrol engines). The oil bearded ones will love it.

why on earth would you want to retain the look of the engine and then hate the styling of the bike so much you ditch half if it*?
* - apart from weight saving cos the motor/battery is so small on this

I’m beginning to form the opinion that all these electric do-dads be they cars or bikes are fashion statements born of peoples desire to go ‘look at me aren’t I the fashionista / planet saving eco warrior.’
Once the government subsidies go and the reality of 200 odd mile range followed by hours of recharging sink in I wonder if they won’t just fade into the background

I was going to say something here but I can't without being insulting. But if you want to spunk £8k for a slower bike with sod all range then go for it. P'raps the shop they sell them in is called I Saw You Coming.
