Nice vid π I would rather have the TZR 250 3XV out of the two ππ And ~Β£20k in your pocket. Iβd have an RG 500 over a langen any day, or a YPVS Hybrid evenβ¦.

I like everything about it apart from the price.
I can see where the Β£35,000 comes from. At work we are just starting to make 13 air conditioning unit's that will eventually go on top of cranes. Those units are about 1650 x 900 x 900mm and all the parts are specially made for them but nothing CNC machined from solid and we sell them for about Β£34,000 each.
The 3XV came out well considering it was a 45 hp JDM restricted bike. They make 65 plus once unrestricted.
I'd like to see it do a side by side with an unrestricted TZR/RGV/NSR 250.
He's right about the YZ125, fantastic engine. My lad had one and more than once I thought it would be good to put two of those cylinders on a crankcase.
My lad has a YZ250. What if we put two of those cylinders on an engine? Or four YZ125's??? I bet that Italian guys already on it.

I differ. I think it's as fugly as a pit bull chewing a wasp. And what's with the scoop things? Β£35K is insane. Who the hell can afford one and if you want a bonkers 2 stroke you could build/buy a better, older one for less. RWU forks, twin shocks, an awful headlight and a trellis frame that looks like it's not quite finished. Don't get me wrong I applaud them for doing this but the design and price... it just isn't enough. It's a bloody 250 too. Now if that was say, a 500 wrapped in some sleek bodywork and modern bouncy stuff, Β£35k might...might...make sense.
Alex
ps I'd like to see some top speed figures and maybe a race between that and maybe the TZR on a track.

The work college of my Dad who I brought my F1 off had a RG500 in the shead aswell it had been their for 30 years but he said it was not the nicest bike to ride as it used to over heat a lot and the rear cylinders would get hotter then the front ones and you have to wait for then to cooldown.

When something looks right it usually is..... The TZR is a good example of this. The other is lost in a flat white and beard oil haze....

I think the look on the tuners face said it all. He was being nice with his comments.
