 A4D2C793-0C4E-4026-BB73-DF9569419D20 by Steve Jones, on Flickr Well, here is the start point of my LC2 ! Matching numbers UK bike. There are a few bits missing and a few that are incorrect. Frame is painted but that’s about it ! Have no idea on the original colour but planning on a Kenny Roberts paint scheme at this stage but that could change 😁 I’m sure I will have hundreds of questions along the way so please be as nice as possible 😁 Steve |

Still struggling I’m afraid. I’d already read and followed the instructions but when I get to the share part it’s not offering me the bb code. Maybe as I’m on the phone so I will try on the lap top later

Looking good. The motor is the fun bit! Thanks ! The only other motor I did was a GT380 so looking forward to this one ! Just debating whether to keep the main casings in naked and just gloss the outer casings or powder coat it all 🤔 |

Yeah I have an aqua blaster so that’s the plan for me. The GT380 cases are aqua blasted and look very good to be fair, hence the thought of leaving them natural on the LC If anyone needs any aqua blasting done in the DoncSter area, give me a shout |

I was hoping to have mine done last night @ college, but the blaster motor packed up. Next week maybe they'll be done which suits my slow build too!!

Well, a very long time between between updates mainly due to a bad bike accident last May, with 7 broken bones, exo frame on the leg for 5 months, a subsequent blood clot leading to a stroke and loss of peripheral vision resulting in no licence Anyway, now back on wobbly leg and got a bit done ! well, quite a lot really ! I was just about to have the paintwork done and then as per my post in the main chat, now unsure what started as an LCll build could now be an N1 build. Made a great start/finish with the engine, looks very good so far.
As far as LC2 or N1 depends on how anorakish you want to be, I can see a fair bit needs replacing with where you are at present if going for an N1. But you might be able to recoup costs by selling what you already have.
Yogi and Midlife are serial restorers to be able to tell everything you need. Just doing a German N1 myself but it's a slow go project at present.
