£3.50 is a good price indeed. Last time they did this it was £2.25 a can! That's fekkin inflation for ya!

I will be visiting Tesco today, thanks pedheadfred I had a 5 litre container of WD-40 that lasted me about 20 years! 😁 All gone now though 🙄 5ltr goes a very long way in squirty bottle, lasts years as you say. Problem with aerosol cans (paint more so) they state a quantity inside the can. Paint obviously includes reducer thinner aswell as propellant which is Gas. Liquid gas creates at least half the cans volume to propel the cans contents out. So your aerosol cans won't go anywhere as near as far as your trusty 5ltr can has done.

WD-40 is always the first thing to try when cleaning stuff. The kids at school had put glue from a Glue Stick all over a touch screen on a laptop. Came off clean with some WD-40 and a rag :-)

WD40 as a cleaner is great, as a lubricant, not so much.
Used to get a few cans from work ,great for cleaning flicked chain lube off rear wheels.
GT85 to lubricate.
50/50 ATF and nail varnish remover to free off stubborn fasteners.

Mixed views on the Wd-40 make your own decision if it's for you or not. But it's still bargain priced at Tesco
