Hello everyone and happy new year. I have a question about the 4l0, specifically about the coil, spark plug wire and spark plug boots. If I'm not mistaken, does the 4l0 mount spark plug caps without resistors, and in fact does it mount B8 or B9 spark plugs depending on the season, and are they metal or rubber? Having to replace the spark plug caps, is it better to put the ones with the resistors and change the spark plugs with the BR series? I also wanted to change the spark plug wires because when I got the bike it had been standing still for 10 years so I assume they are old and I have rubber caps but I don't know if they are with or without resistors; I also have a problem, the spark plug wires don't unscrew from the coil, are these fixed with resin, so could they be changed or do I risk damaging them? I could change the coil, cables and spark plugs, but is there a coil to replace the original that fits the 4l0, if so, can you tell me the model and brand, thanks.

Agreed, that’s what I did! Just ensure a good earth connection to the frame 👍

The leads are fixed into the coils. I have tried to dig them out, but no joy.
You need either resistor plugs and non-resistor caps or the other way round. It does not really matter which way as long as both are not resistor ones.
Norbo sells his Banshee coils and suitable mounting brackets in his shop. They seem to work well and are cheaper than other options.

Sorry for the late reply but unfortunately I do not receive notifications of your replies. Thanks for the tips, I'll put a reel of the Banshee. I have a doubt, could the Tmax coil, which always has two cables, be good? On the Norbo shop there is really everything, a truly excellent shop, the problem is that with the brexit it has become expensive to buy, too many customs duties and long delivery times.
