i watched someone else cut one of these earlier. diamond blade on electric grinder got through pretty quick

i watched someone else cut one of these earlier. diamond blade on electric grinder got through pretty quick I have diamond blades but I've only used them on brick and stone. I've never tried one on metal. I have 0.8 and 1mm cutting discs. With less pressure and a 0.8mm disc I think he would have got through quicker and with one disc maybe. I'm not going to buy a £250 lock to prove it though.

That's an interesting vid. I tend to carry a U lock and a disk lock, whenever I have to leave it for a while.
Both are quite cheap and probably add up to a similar inconvenience to a thief. For some seconds anyway.
Leave it in the same visible place day after day in London and it'll go. There is a chap that commutes on a ratty Z1300. Sounds wonderful and gets left alone!
