No idea who did that but it's piggin awful. And that's done digitally? I'd be embarrassed to call that any of my work.

Masterpiece or Ringpiece...your choice.
Did Piccaso have brown fingers?

All the above images were created by an Artificial Intelligence system called Dall-E2. By just giving a very brief description the original artwork was created in seconds. Every one it creates is unique even if given the same description many times over.
Some of the images it produces cannot be identified as being created by AI rather than a human.

Where did it get the idea that a couple of them had been shot in the eye?

It does the same as a human and browses the web for reference pics.

Maybe the setting is on impressionism or abstract?
I did have an inkling that the one in a brown jacket was Phil Read?

If you don't specify, it will do its own thing.

Reminds me of the film I Robot, very very loosely named after the superb Isaac Asimov novel, where a robot sketches a scene in seconds and carves a chair from wood in even less time. Leaves the question...is it art if an artificial thing has created it?
I say no. Art comes from within and not something from a machine. Don't get me wrong, it's amazing how far these things have come in a very short time but how soon will it be when they start making robots that replace humans? And I don't mean assembly bots, I mean walking talking robots. Not sure if that's a great idea or a idiotic one. Even programmed with the 3 laws they'd still take away something that a human used to do...and then what becomes of that human?

They are already controlled (via apps) and believe anything they are told unquestioningly.... I refuse to shop in a self service bay, and pay at the booth for fuel. Tech is a tool not a replacement for us or God. Bloody marvelous watching CNC machinery though. Art is something from its creator, a part of their being. And it's whatever you think it is or what you want it to be...even an upturned urinal.....
