Ok, you need to make it clear what you need.

There are a number of different drives for the 125. What 'clips'?

the clps that hold the nylon cog on the drive shaft i need everything that makes the pump work . If you removed it from a casing and removed the pump i need everything that's left

Ok. I'm going to need more detail than that. There are at least 3 different drives for the 125LC.

This is why I always check everything out, especially on bikes like the 125LC, because I'm not totally confident with what I know about them.

I can help Norbo but I'm back in Belgium, I've just been to England to move some bikes on for health reasons. If he can wait I can give parts like this for free. Also I've been meaning to speak to Arrow for years as I would like some pumps recalibrating, I'm sure I've had some that over oil from the factory? I've got 3 nearly new bikes and want them to be perfect.

This is why I always check everything out, especially on bikes like the 125LC, because I'm not totally confident with what I know about them. I've been dealing and working with imports of this model for many years I have a store room full of mint parts and always wanting to learn any differences. There's a bullshitter on facebook who has been telling people "import cylinders are slower" and " the carb from he restricted UK bike is faster" he's a well known nutcase who's ruined the RD125LC scene on facebook. I've been slowly trying to myth bust on my own bikes. I've noted a lot of little improvements Yamaha has made by year, but none seem that significant. Oil pump changes would be interesting. I've seen very low mile MK1s with big end failures. I've also had several blank number crankcases from dealer warranty work bikes. The later round barrels seem to cover more miles on the original bore. (longer conrod = less friction) I have MK2 clocks here with 61,000kms on original bore. My nearly new bike ( now 245 kms) was taken back to the dealer in 1982 with a blown shock after 100 miles and never given back.

Well, for example I've seen 125LC pumps with gears inside the pump of 62, 55 and 40 teeth. Also L/H and R/H castings, that last one nearly caught me out a few years ago.

I should be able to pull some pumps from unmolested bikes of different years, then will try to see if there's a pattern.

I can wait he is not going to be riding the bike over the winter . Its just he has helped me out recently with a job at my house and id like to repay his help with the part he needs . Yam did change a few things as you say with the Rd 125 its been many years since i used to build them up so i cxan see them changing the oil pump stuff a little . it was most likely a MK 1 pump i gave him but back in the day i was braking them every few weeks so had hundreds at my house all broke up. Its just it would be a full day to empty the shed out it would all get wet on the grass and go back in wet and thats if its not raining this time of the year. The blkoody casings i still have will be in the lowest most corner i guarantee it .
