Guys, could do with a pointer as to why I've no indicators on my 250lc project...
OK so I've got the rolling chassis just about done but no engine in yet, got all the electrics working except indicators, also nothing on the dash flasher lights..
I've got power to the relay, I know the relay is good as I've tested it on my PV (also tried that bike's relay on on the 250) the relay is a 2 pin but the other relay is original yamaha 3 pin. I've stripped the switchgear and cleaned it all up, done continuity test from the wires In the switch to the other side of the block connector under the tank, all OK. I've tried it without the cancelling unit plugged in..
Thought it might be wrong bulbs but getting no power to the flashers..
Fuse is OK and continuity to battery etc.
The clocks haven't got the little diode thingy for the cancelling unit, could that effect it?
So obviously I'm missing something here and electrics aren't my strong point so any ideas would be great...cheers guys
EDIT.. I'm leaning towards something in the switchgear isn't right but I haven't got a spare one to try 🙄

After another couple of hours I've finally sussed it out, the middle connector in the switchgear had worn down, so not making the curcuit, built it back up with a bit of solder and all working 😁😁 Hopefully this might help someone in the future while searching....

Nice fix and well done for finding electrics can be fun to chase down . Sometimes its about being methodical and going through wire by wire until something looks obvious.

Nice fix and well done for finding electrics can be fun to chase down . Sometimes its about being methodical and going through wire by wire until something looks obvious. It was doing my nut because every wire had power/earth and continuity so no reason why it wouldn't work! Went back to the switch thinking it must be something there, bridged the middle and either end wire and I had indicators so knew it had to be that...
