Hi This has probably been covered already ? I have an defective 1GU CDI on one of my 125lc. Are there any easier alternatives as opposed to trying to find another working 1GU or get the original 1GU cdi repaired ? thank you

Hi there,
yes its been covered. The short answer is get an ignitech CDI to replace the unreliable old originals, also, yes, the 2RH one can be used, but you will find some people disagree about how successfully.

Ignitech's are digital and genuinely give a better throttle response. I've fitted them to all the bikes I import now. Norbo sells them on the shop here. and Ignitech now supply the correct connectors and curve after I started promoting them.
