Hi team I just received an email from Flickr informing me they are about to start removing photos from my account. Reason given is I have too many which are not public (more than 50) and so the administrators will start removing them. I am not too precious about them however that will mean they will disappear from any posts I have made on the forum. I can however pay for an upgrade membership and keep them. I guess they will all be going public then 😜 John🙂

I started paying for the privilege some time back John. I've got over 4500 photos on Flikr, and I add more daily, mainly due to the Facebook pics thread. I got to 1000 free pics and then started paying something like 6 quid a month. Most of my threads are heavy on pics so I dont mind paying for some peace of mind. Dusty

I upload images using Tapatalk, I find it a lot easier than linking from a hosting site that at some point change the rules to make it costly or difficult or in some cases, close down completely, often with little or no warning resulting in all images being lost.

I tried Tapatalk and couldn't get on with it I'm not that computer savvy, and cant be bothered trying to navigate around new apps. It's far easier for me to download from the net onto my Pc, upload to Flikr and then post on here. I always knew I was gonna have to "go pro" at some point purely from the amount of pics I'm posting, so it was no surprise - unlike Photomuthafukups who slapped an exorbitant fee on anyone with 1000 pics, overnight Each to their own Dusty
