Hi all, after receiving a warm welcome to the forum, and a request for some piccies, I think I've now navigated Flikr well enough to actually add some images. So here goes: This is the bike as bought in 2006, running but in need of some TLC. I later discovered this is an N1. CIMG0111 (2)CIMG0112 (2)

Nice to see another receiving attention in intensive care, looks like she'll soon be well on the way to a full recovery, good work.

Thanks for the kind comments.
I intend to get it back to original with the white paint job - I do like the idea of gold wheels though! Does anyone have any pics of an N1 with gold wheels?

A great starting point as the bike looks quite complete. Good work so far

Engine as it came out of the bike, or rather out of the box The clutch cover, chain guard, infill panels and CDi plate had all been painted with satin black paint but not in a good way. I've found the new paint strippers are gentle enough to remove the paint from plastics without damaging them and had good results so far. As it turned out the clutch cover was cracked, I have another to replace it

I think the carbs are from a later F2 model - can anyone confirm?

I think the carbs are from a later F2 model - can anyone confirm? Yep they look like powerjets from a later model

Thanks Yogi. Are these a better option than the ones originally fitted to 31Ks? Just wondering why they were swapped.

Getting on great 👍 Mine's not standard but you'll get the rough idea of N1 with gold wheels Steve

Gold wheels only seem to work on certain bikes. Like that one for example. Looks stunning.
