Just finished a YPVS build and the choke side carb is only is leaking quite a bit of petrol quite high on the carb body , this i am sure is just my float height needs set but my other concern is
i have on both carb body's on the inner sides facing each other i have M5/M6 hole which is clearly threaded for something i am not familiar with these carbs and just wondering if i am missing
something here.....any help greatly appreciated with the piping route's from tank to carb etc as i think i am clearly missing something...
anyone got any photo help or a good description of the piping on these please ?

Think the threaded hole is just a casting for on other variants the tick over screw is on the other side
The spigot on the side of the body is the air vent to the float bowl and air correction circuit. Should be a short length of tubing in it
Fuel leaking from there is strange. I'd be checking your float bowl overflows are clear, the vents are clear and your crank cases aren't full of fuel
And you have a sticking or badly adjusted fuel valve in the leaking carb

hi steve .... so today i stripped the carbs and found my 'school boy error' i simply had forgot to set the float level they were sitting at 25/26mm also found a great way to to help set these , i used a tyre debth gauge , Halfords Essentials Analogue Tread Debth Gauge £5 part number 171763 just thought i would share but im sure everyone has their own way i guess.. thanks for the threaded casting Steve , thought i was missing something ZiG
