Hi Gents, originally the CBT guys booked the whole weekend with no Sat or Sun separate days, but now you can book individual days, my Saturday is booked along with a few other undesirable Northerners, can't wait to get out on track. Andy.

Andy. One way or another I plan to be there. Possibly not riding but disasters apart I should be there.

Novice 250 class It's worth the trip honestly. I'm only 50/60 miles away so I would say that but there are guys who turn up from Jersey and Holland and a few from Scotland that I know of.

Going to Cadwell is the main thing I've missed during all this we've been going through. The RGV is still on the trailer and has been since September '19. I've got a new car with no towing bracket and a few other things to sort before I'm back in action. I guess the main one is talking the Mrs. around after spending 6 weeks on crutches last time out . I don't want to hurt myself anymore but I'm like a moth to a light bulb........ The lad has bought a house and moved in with his girlfriend so he's got other things to think about but all being well we'll both make a weekend of it.

the memory of the crash should have passed by now steve tow bar 1st job or come along for the craicits good fun on the other side of the fence The knee and ankle remind me everyday Andy! I just checked the dates and I'm away for the July one but I'll be around for the August. Is the other half going to believe a steady trundle around? I have no more holidays booked so won't need to cancel anything if I hurt myself unlike last time! Either side of the fence I'll be there with a few beer tokens!

Just arrived back from a great weekend at Cadwell. Had a great chat with Andy 748 and probably bored him to death but it's his own fault, he came over to me! I don't think Andy and a few of his mates had a lot of bike luck but that meant they could knock off early and start on the beer. There were quite a few LC/YPVS's going around along with a few nice examples of KR1/S, RGV, TZR etc. Had another long conversation with a guy who had his white and blue 350LC there. Fantastic condition, very early one, non tie bar. 47,000 miles but although he's had a few bits powder coated most of the finish was original and still in great nick. The other thing is he's had it from new. I said I like to see them with plenty of miles on them, shows they've been used. My LC was in worse condition than that at two years old. I had another long chat with a guy who built a replica of the bike he used to race, a 31K YPVS in white/red. It was complete with the original sponsor stickers and even the clock protector ace bars. He was going well on it as you would expect. No photos of any of these cos I'm rubbish like that

Talk about bad luck, my RGV, after noise test didn't feel right, test ride was shocking, Zeel parameters were all over the place, no laptop or cable, so that was me out before i started. Brother's LC kept nipping up, Mates black RGV jumping out of 2nd gear, his second blue RGV snapped it's chain, mate on his RS250 nipped it up and his mate on a 600 SRAD battery went dead as the Reg/Rec packed in after 1 lap, so 6 bikes out of 7 all done before lunch, the only one left was Bryan on his CBR400, bloody Hondas! Was great to catch up Steve. Weather was too hot for me though. Andy.

Maybe you should take (whisper, a four stroke) as a back up? That guy was flying on the Honda. I had a good chat with the guy who had two Honda RS250's. He had a 2000 and a 2008 I think they were. The 2008 was in Shell Advance colours, yellow and orange If I remember right. I was chasing him in 2019 and came close to getting past him in a few places but bottled it. Anyway I clocked his time this year and he was about 8 seconds quicker than anything I've done so he seems to have got a bit faster. I wouldn't get near him now! Nice guy to talk to but I'm jealous of his bikes! As for the heat I think you were trying to water cool yourself, well with cider anyway

I'm planning on doing some more of the Classic Bike Track Days next year with the LC Hybrid & RS250. Rode a few last year on the RS then pulled the bike apart as you do!
Nice that you can have more than one bike out on the day.
