every time I look at this I wonder about the pitch fork on the back rather than worry about the condition of the 'bike'... I can restore bikes, but whats going on with the fork?

I can see one Allen screw holding a footrest plate on that might be usable if you could get it out.
That's probably the most un-restorable bike I've ever seen.

So who's buying it then?
Start a build thread. I've got a(very) comfy chair and a massive bucket (skip) of popcorn.

There's one on the front as well OMG! there is too! lol Remember the number plates on the front mudguards that bikes used to have, or pedestrian slicers as they were known? This takes it to a whole new level.

Forked if I know TBH I wonder what he did with the fork handles....handles for forks. Don't you mean four candles 🤔 Steve We went through quite a few more than four candles last Saturday. Our electricity was off for 11 & 3/4 hours. After 12 we get £100 of the leccy company. Now I'm not generally a conspiracy theorist but......... My Mrs. came home with a box full this Saturday because I said we'd used the last ones. I went through all the four candles/fork handles thing as you do. She didn't laugh. Obviously putting them away she found another box full in the place we keep candles....Didn't laugh again. Never did find my re-chargable LED lamp I bought for just such occasions. Some homes are still without power over a week later. That must be a right pain in the @rse.

I have a dual fuel Coleman lamp for occasions without power and night fishing trips. Runs on unleaded. ( I use aspen fuel) Maybe not the best item for use inside a house...but my theory is...well we have a gas cooker in the house so.... Works great and is 20 yrs + old. Far better than the old pressureised paraffin lamps of old.

Far better than the old pressureised paraffin lamps of old. I've got one of those too. I bought it for beach fishing about 20 years ago. I have always ran it on unleaded petrol. Gives off a lot of light but I wouldn't be comfortable using it indoors. I believe the mantle in it now is broken which is easily done. The last time I intended to use it I took it to Cadwell for the after trackday drinking in 2019 and the mantle was broken when I took it out of the car. It's been like that ever since. Been sat on the beach in the middle of winter trying to warm my hands on it a few times. A wave washed over it once and the glass broke but that was my daft fault. Sometime before the next power cut I'll dig out that re-chargeable one and charge it up. I might even fit a new mantle in the Coleman if I get keen. I wonder how they go on the E10 stuff?

I bought a rechargeable LED lamp unit from Aldi in the chuck outs, light ups whole rooms (whole house if open plan) and last for ages. Cheap as chips too.

I've always been impressed with stuff from Aldi.
Had a set of Diamond coated needle files for over ten years now. Used most days, they are almost as good as the day I bought them.

Aspen is cheaper than the coleman fuel... E10? ... dont think so... these lamps get left for months from winter (cod) to the next winter. Great for warming a pie wrapped in tinfoil sat on top! Parts readily available on ebait.

I had a shoulder injury that stopped me casting and I took a while to recover and never started again in case it aggravated the injury. From a certain age everything I did starting causing me injuries. Fishing you would think was quite safe. Falling off at Cadwell was to be expected though I suppose. I did go for a walk on the beach at Mappleton a few weeks ago and one old guy told me it was fishing better than ever. He had a couple of small Whiting while I chatted. I've fell for that before and had nothing when I went. Still might see if there is anything left of my gear. I only live ten minutes from the sea so it's tempting.
