They are few and far between these days I’m afraid. Even old turds are around the £1k Mark. I’ve done a few, including a 1965 C100 (50cc) with a lifan motor..

About 20 yrs ago, a neighbour had a Honda "placcy" in his loft. It had only a few miles on the clock and had a pile of brand new spare plastics with it. He said "one day these will be worth a packet". Oh how I laughed.........

As said your be lucky to find one just laying around with the owner not knowing its worth iv brought / sold / restored 30 plus of these honda c90"s with racks & racks of spare parts i used to travel all over the country for bikes / parts & spent thousands doing so..Now there are very few if any for sale under a grand & that would be for a poor condition one..Now i am slowly selling off all my spares as you just cant buy them anymore at a decent price & mint frames don't exist .. good luck with your search tho & custom c90"s do look the biz

About 20 yrs ago, a neighbour had a Honda "placcy" in his loft. It had only a few miles on the clock and had a pile of brand new spare plastics with it. He said "one day these will be worth a packet". Oh how I laughed......... Yeah it's mad isn't it. I even heard that horrible stuff like GT380's go for £150/£200 now A guy who lived opposite my mate had maybe three KH250's, lime green late ish ones. We all had LC's. He said the same. We laughed at him. We were wrong (kind of). Mind you I don't think he had nearly 30 years in mind as a time scale. Someone recently said to me that they fancy a cheap 90. Obviously he is out of the loop. I had to put him right that cheap Honda 90's don't exist anymore. I had two 70's. Paid £50 for each of them, blew them both up and scrapped them both. I disproved the un-breakable reputation they had. They were just thought of as disposable then. My mate found one about 15/18 years ago, virtually like new and next to no miles on it. He started using it for daily transport. Chasing me home one night I saw him disappear off out of my mirror on a roundabout. The deadly plaggy legshield or footpeg had brought him off. Didn't look like new after that. His knee didn't either. They weren't so common then so it was a shame.

I missed an interesting Suzuki step through a few yrs back as well. An old dear used to run around on it, It must of been one from the late 60s or early70s. I've never seen another one. I asked her where tho old bike was and was told she had given it to another neighbour..... went round and said I'd buy it off them...too late...wheel rims already on a trotting trap and rest weighed in.

It is ridiculous how these old knackers have jumped in value, some of the prices asked for even wrecks is mad, anything well preserved is too much money to buy and cut up .

Yea seen those as I trawl the internet, second one has been relisted as it didn't sell, I know I can get a frame from japan for about £350 which is rot free, and a good starting point, I'd be throwing most of the rest of those bikes away to start again.
