Is there anyone who knows the difference between the 1988 4° gear gear (29L-17241-01) and the 1985 4° gear gearbox gear (4LO-17241-01?? At first glance they are the same, then why the other numbering??? Other gears have the same number in the 1988 and 1985 versions.

I would check if the corresponding gear on the other shaft is the same in '85 and '88. When this didn't change, I would try to use it.

That's weird
Never thought any 4l0 parts were used in a ypvs gearbox or that the 85 was different
Can't quite remember but either 3/4 or 4/5 input gear is joined so you'd think changing one of the output gears would mean it was the same size 🤔
