These guys tend to produce what they claim so hopefully not more TSS style vaporware. brcracing.ca/brc-r600/Forgive if someone has brought it up already. Surely it would be a race only toy in most places without some very creative interpretation come registration time.

There are plenty of R6s about with cracked blocks, so they could be onto a winner, dunno if I want 140bhp in an R6, they're fast enough with the about 100bhp the one I rode had.

Not for me, cannot abide the look of the latest generation sports bikes. Plus they are designed for a big old 4 stroke motor, not sure how they’d look with a smaller engine fitted. Thing is I’d rather take a tzr/kr1 to Dave and get him to build it, classic two stroke look with a weapon of a motor.

i would like to try one but hate to think how much it would cost with buying it and shipping and import duties etc would probably end up dearer than a old LC engine

Upon further research, they say it is built on an R6 bottom end. Interesting to see how they adapt a four stroke crankcase to a two stroke cylinder. They do a great job on karts and dirt big bore kits but that's a lot to pull off.

Why dont they use the top ends of a Vmax 750 2t snowmobile engine?

I'd have thought it's maybe badly worded and just uses the complete bottom end internals other than the crank
Is an r6 not like an r1 and the cylinders are part of the crankcase?

Steve Yes, everything is very compactly designed, the bottom of the sump bolts to the block with the cylinders. To release the crankshaft you have to loosen this.
