My track LC ended up not being used and was too valuable to be left as a track bike, so decided to refurb it.
For those that do not know, this bike was lashed together a few days before a track day, so was just any old sh1te I had lying around, but it actually ran and went really well and made 48hp, so decided to make a pretty version.
I stripped it a few weeks ago and got the frame modified to UK spec, as it started life as a German import. Had it powder coated and was then ready for the rebuild.
Got some standard wheels cleaned up and repainted. Engine being rebuilt into casings with tie bar mounts, as original engine was non-tie bar. Fitting new crank into nice blasted casings, but using original top end, as worked really well.

I made one good ignition switch out of four knackered ones, and tested and fitted it.

Rob any old Lc won’t be any old Lc in your capable hands. Looking forward to seeing this progress. 👍
