Hi, i've just bought an F2 after a few years off bikes, im excited to be 2 stroke owner again!
I'm looking to convert to N2 spec with straight bars as i prefer the look.
I understand i need a 31K top yoke?
Any help appreciated.

Hi Welcome to the forum If you want "normal" bars as opposed to clip ons, then an Lc2 top yoke is what you need. Be aware the F2 forks are longer than an Lc2 due to the clip on fitment, so some of the fork will sit proud of the top yoke if you want the ride height somewhere near correct. You can buy clamps that will fit the forks and offer a normal bars fitment, but they dont look great, imo. Get to 10 posts and you can access the classifieds, and post a "wanted" ad Dusty

Thanks Dusty, I can imagine the clip on bar clamps aren't very pretty. I definitely don't want to raise the ride height so would straight bars not clear the forks with a lc2 top yoke?

Welcome in
You can fit lc2 stanchions to your forks and cut down the spring spacers to suit
Either that or you will have to drop the stanchions through the yokes 10 - 20mm

You can have the forks touching the underside of the bars which will get the ride height somewhere near what it should be - just doesn't look as good as having the top of the forks flush with the top yoke. Dusty

Ok thanks guys, sounds like I need to find a top yoke and have a play around with heights then. Anyone used bolt on bar clamps on the original yoke? Just another option maybe as the lc2 yokes seem pretty rare.
