I'm sure I read a thread on here of someone showing where they drilled their carbs for the oil spigot. 20210505_211940Can I build up the area circled in red with something like JB weld to allow me to get a decent threaded hole without breaking into the carb throat. I'd like to try and get it where the red circle is so it can face at a slight angle upwards so as not to let the oil run out whilst sitting. 20210505_211731aAny other advice greatly received but not, go premix, I really would like to keep the pump. Cheers Mark.

The NRV valves in the pump will stop it siphoning in
The oil tank is the highest point so if the valves pass it will leak in no matter what angle the spigots are at
If you have to fit them in that area the thicker casting where I take it the ID is marked on above where you have marked them would be better
If you are using a billet manifold you can fit them in there
If not you can fit scottoiler vacuum spigots in the rubbers
