I'm toying with the idea of a hybrid build rather than restore the 31k I've just bought. Maybe keep the fairing??? K4 GSXR 600 front forks, rear swingarm, wheels, brakes etc into an LC frame, obviously some modifications to make but has anyone used GSXR 600 parts and found major hurdles?

Certainly if you have access to engineering services you could make just about anything fit with a bit of fettling.
Look through the resto hybrid builds on here and you will see a myriad of different front/rear ends being skilfully fitted to LC and PV frames. RGV parts are a common choice so GSXR running gear wont be far off the mark I imagine. (He says with a wry grin!!)
Like most though be prepared for some challenges along the way and don't forget the pics as you go

Worth checking the fork lengths, as some are quite a bit shorted than original LC/YPVS forks, which could make the front end look low and make the bike look sloping down to the front. 17" wheels will lower the bike a little too.

It is not difficult to make a good looking hybrid. To get the geometry sorted and the springrate., that is the key to make good laptimes. 🤓
