I managed to get a good priced RZ250R to someone whose trying to rip me off saying its an RD/RZ350R and wanting me to pay fortune price for it, so I was personally checking the bike further and checked the Frame chassis and engine number and immediately find the starting numbers with 29L stamped did some searching on the internet and some asking to some friends who know more 'bout Yamaha 2 strokes and was confirmed that the bike that is being sold to me is indeed an RZ250R and not an RD350 that is being advertised by the owner himself. Long story short we both agree on inking the deal that is agreeable in both ends, got me an RZ250R and he got his money, both of us return to our caves with a smiles on our faces.
as you can see on the provided link above, the previous owner for unknown reason did slapped in some customized built Kawasaki ZX10R fairing/flarings.
So I wanted to know what will be the necessary parts needed for the conversion to make it an RD/RZ350 itself and what are the parts I can reuse or need to replace in process of converting them up? was also planning on going full hybrid build on this one but need to sort out the engine parts first before I proceed on picking what side of hybrid madness I'll be partaking with once the engine is build, tuned and ready. It's either I go full Yamito/Myth build or an Hybrid FZR 400/600 rolling chassis.
I've been searching the net for spare parts that I can use for my project but the only parts showing are either old advertisement from 5-12 years or from an ATV banshee 350cc with no PV rebuild kit, the 392cc big bore kit, the 421cc kit are being marketed out.
