Evening men. I'm having a new tire fitted tomorrow, which means i will encounter the same irritating issue i normally have when refitting the rear wheel Now i can't be the only one to face this every time. So i thought i would ask if anyone else has it, how they get over it or if it is just me So, what happens when i tighten up the spindle nut is the chain guide reference plate thing twists with the nut, which then hooks onto the bottom of the swingarm and bends the hook part underneath when you try to go tighter. Picture of the part below. So how do you guys get over this??

I've not had this issue myself, but changing them for washers and using a chain alignment tool would be the way forward.

so it is just me I would have thought all owners find that when the nut is turned against the adjuster it would turn it as it tightens I'll have to see if i can find a huge washer that fits the spindle for the nut side, the other end i can hold stationary while i tighten. Thanks for the replies
