Thanks Nigel I know the original fitted ok it’s the bracket that is completely out of kilter and can’t be persuaded to fit I have both the kit instructions and the original ones it’s just too far away. 👍

The problem is that it is so completely out of alignment even persuasion with a lump hammer may not do the trick. I’ll look at what alternatives there are.

If it is a Smith offering, they are very flexible, and bend quite a lot till they break....

Got a vague recollection about someone else struggling to get a pattern ProAm bracket to fit...just can’t pull all details . Presume yours is second hand tim ?

No Pete I bought from Norbo new he did say it might be a challenge to fit, I’m wondering about grinding off the mounts and using so P clips I’ll see if that’ll work?

Thanks, I’ve looked at what’s available but I’m Pretty certain they are all made by the same company tbh, so I think I will fabricate something myself as even if I found an original brearley smith one it’ll probably not then fit the fairing. The one I have can’t actually fit onto the bike and then it also doesn’t fit the fairing.

Mead Speed are a joke. Utterly rubbish brackets. I contacted them and said what on earth have you sent to be told it should just bolt on - oh covered in manufacturing fibreglass debris too.
You will need to re-engineer it if it’s a mead speed as they clearly haven’t got a clue or a quality control department.

I think the quality must be varied as some say a little bit of bending it fits and others like mine are impossible.
