Hi all, does anyone know of any metal polishers for alloy in the North West? Ta.
Thinking of fork legs and foot rest brackets. I've got the decent but struggling to get a mirror finish, even with a polishing mop. I know its not OEM finish 🙂

In my experience polishing, you need clean mops at the final stage to get the mirror finish, I bet if you go back to where you finished and used a fresh clean mop it will turn grey fast, once grey its not polishing anymore but spreading dirt and polish around, try it and see what I mean, or just do last stage by hand with clean rags to polish, I keep old socks for this.

So today I've been re polishing my bits with a new mop as Tony suggested and bingo, it looks way better than it did. I've used blue jewellers polish and then Vienna lime chalk to finish. Happy days. Just looking at the photo and it doesn't look like the finished job, however Ive just remembered that Ive coated it with gt85 silicon spray
