Great work & again I'd have gone with something out of solid, starting with some round stock so good to see I should get my thinking cap on more often and stop being scared stiff of my TIG!!

Have you tried Rotary Broaching for the Hex Heads? I tend to buy Ti fasteners nowadays & they're spenny, so looking for a Rotary Broach set up and some stock Ti bar as a back up and to prevent me having to wait for them..

Hi everyone , I've got the week off ππ So today I was sorting the rear wheel out the inner spacer was no good as I'm useing a bigger spindle from 15 mm to 17 mm .I pinched the inner spacer from a fzr 400 rear wheel it has the correct Id but the od was to big so I set it up in the lathe and turned it down to 20 mm from 24 mm ,sorted it works a treat ! .I fitted new bearings and seals then tried the rear wheel in , I made the spacer's in st st but I might re make them in alloy as the st st ones are heavy ,will see . The wheel still fits as it should so happy days !! . Waiting on fork tubes from re Chrome, and need a set of tyre's. Chris

Hi everyone. I've been looking at my front discs I got with the front end and they are in really good condition! They are well in spec thickness with hardly much wear! ,But they need a good clean up and paint the center's. I'm really not sure,I would like nice new ones but at a cost of around Β£300 or use what I have , Β£300 can be easily spent else where ,if they were shagged it would be a different story.?

Lightly vapour blast
Get them on the lathe so as they are rotating you can green scotchbrite them
Mask and paint the centres
