Was at the Ace yesterday and spoke ot Mark the owner. He said only allowed to start events May 17th so it looks like officially the Vintage Jap and 2 Stroke days are cancelled. However, last Septemebr 2 stroke day was officially cancelled but loads of 2 strokers still turned up and it unofficially went ahead  Im still gonna have a look up there on the day |

I did wonder why it had disappeared into a cloud of blue smoke from the Ace Events page.
If it's open again by Sun 16th of May I may just pop in for a Full English if I'm passing, can you imagine how spooky it'd be if I just happened to be on a 2 stroke motorcycle, what's the chances huh 😁

Face masks are required if you wish to enter the building to use the customer toilets. Outdoor service only still for a further 2 weeks NO meets yet! Originally 2 stroke day was on the 16th May and Yamaha day on the 23rd May. If by chance you just happen to be there having a bit of breakfast on either of those dates you mustn't "meet" more than 1 other person from another household.

Wet clothes & bike don't bother me but a soggy full English isn't a good thing so gave it a miss, in the end the weather wasn't anywhere near as bad as the forecast tbh. Hopefully the weather will be better next Sunday for their Yamaha Day plus breakfast can be eaten wherever we f*ckin' well like  |

i was just about to head there yesterday in the bright sunshine, got the LC out of shed and .... pissed it down so gave up! hopefully next Sunday, we need Yamaha 2 stroke smoke and noise represented |

I'm keeping an eye on the weather for next Sunday. It's currently saying dry in the morning and wet in the afternoon, but it said the same this at this point last week and I woke up at 7.30 to the sound of it raining outside.
