Hi all, fitted and wired this up a little while ago, due to carb leaks and stuff only got to try it last weekend, but cannot get a spark out of the unit, when trying to kick the bike over. Is there possibly a setting I've missed?
I can spark the plugs from the 'cylinder check' so assume the wiring's good, swapped the pick up around several times, and getting approx 120 Ohm on these. Waved a feeler blade across the pick-up and rocked it across both triggers still nothing.
I did have the engine stop wired to the switchgear casing, but now corrected that. and can also see this from the laptop as well (engine stop)
Don't have a cutout, or rev limit, or clutch circuit programmed, suspecting a duff unit, but it will generate it's own spark. BTW bought this as a used unit ages ago now.

It will be one of the pickup settings.
There is one to do with pulse length?? I had to change that last time to get the spark! Not got the software on this PC, but if you cannot find it, let me know and I can have a look tomorrow.

This will be a battery powered unit I presume? Check this first. For a pv you can check the startup cycle.

Thanks for the tips, although I couldn't find either 'pulse length' or 'startup' in the settings unless it's hidden in a sub menu? I did trace the problem to no ground continuity to pin 23, It was a badly butchered multi plug loom, one ground had multiple soldered joints in and the other ground, just looped around the loom, from the pick-up back to an open end So managed to get it running, just need a proper map unlesss there is a downloadable one somewhere, mildly ported YPVS with PWK's and pod filters. Will drop a PM to Mutts this week, not sure he does this without a dyno session to check??

"No lobe length check" was the option I was thinking of, which is under the bike tab then under Motorbike type. Just a reference for anyone else to check this.
