Picked up a German import 250 4L1 at the weekend question is the carbs are stamped 4L0 01 so are these standard carbs on German imports as I want to strip, ultrasonic clean and rebuild them with new kits. I know some are restricted carbs are these the restricted ones or different altogether the 01 bit is throwing me off as it has me thinking that they are 350 later carbs 🤔 Want to order rebuild kits for them so want to get the right ones Regards Jay  |

4L0 01 means they are 350LC later carbs.

I think I have a spare set of 250 4L1 00 carbs already cleaned and set up if you want to do a swap. PM me and will sort some pics for you.

Thanks Shaun for the offer but I bought a set of 4L1 00 carbs from Vic mid December for my project 250 frame with ypvs engine I had and traded it for a complete /ish 😁 german import 250 4L1 which needs a proper paint job , clocks changing both of which i have already, carbs rebuilding, oil pump rebuilding by arrow and indicators 😁 By far a shorter list of jobs to do and parts to source than the way I was going as the hard to get bits just seem to be gone mental Regards Jay |
