I've got an import RD350lc with steering lock on the headstock with no key. Lock appears to be undamaged, is there any way of getting a key for it from Yamaha with the frame number, v5 etc? Also I've seen that Yambits do a replacement lock assembly, would it be possible to get the old one out without damaging the housing so a new one would go in? Thanks Gee

Thanks Gee I drilled my old one out, but the front end was off so cleaning the swarf out of the headstock was easy.

Drilling is easy and swarf not a problem if you drill at the 1oโclock position to hit the roll pin or just below the bit that sticks up so it breaks off. Either way the lock will come out without the drill going right through and any swarf getting past back of lock
