plenty of post's on the forum here but i have not seen the same problem as i have....
new build , engine fitted but not going as yet
brand new F2 loom
brand new banshee coils
brand new stator
brand new Motobatt
everything plugs in as it should with the loom bar left hand side switchgear which i am waiting on in the post...
switch on the ignition and the PV Servo does the sweeps , all good , until i started to switch the light switch on the throttle right hand side switchgear to an on/of position and suddenly the PV
motor starts to make some movement and noise , totally baffled and first thought it is a faulty PV motor , is there a way to test them at all ??
any help appreciated

The right hand switch gear has the kill switch maybe that has something to do with the problem

Sounds daft but check the fuse connections are perfect
I've had issues when you switch on the lights and the extra load causes a big voltage dip or the dodgy connection can't handle the power

The right hand switch gear has the kill switch maybe that has something to do with the problem the sound it makes is almost like it is trying to do a sweep but is almost restricted by something , when i look closely at the servo when operating the switchgear i can clearly see a small amount of movement along with the sounds it's making....really need a working servo from a running bike to plug in and maybe rule it out ?? It's not uncommon for them to twitch or grumble a bit

It's not uncommon for them to twitch or grumble a bit Steve Women? I'd have said most likely in that case 😆 Steve

ZiG How tightly have you setup the cables? Ive found if they cant quite reach the ends then they will do the 'twitch and grumble', sometimes the cables need slackening off just a tad.

not saying its the fix for your problem but any chattering was fixed by slacking for me And... well starting the bike will fix it... you wont hear the chattering when its running
