Collected these today. I used to wear just normal jeans until i came off whilst wearing them and lost some skin, ever since i have always worn leather when on a bike, but sometimes you just want to nip to the shops or something and getting all togged up is a bit of a faff. So, the bike specific jeans seem to have moved on a bit and these and the boots are CE approved, so i took the plunge. They seem really well made and are lined with the stuff they make bullet proof vests with! Where i live is not quite Beirut but you never know! IMG_1268Mouse

I got a pair of Hood K7 jeans, its all i use now on the road, fit well, full CE armour and full length Kevlar liner. Some cheaper jeans only have kevlar on the knees and bum but my thinking is, whats to stop the denim ripping between the kevlar panels...

Have used same pair of Hood jeans for many years. Have zip fixed to rear of jeans to attach textile Hein Gericke jacket (remember them)! Mmm, should really think about replacing this year I suppose. Maybe! lol.

But I was also a 'Star Rider Instructor' at the time, so had to set a good example to those who turned up in jeans and trainers! lol

I know when I came back to London it was more jeans and bomber / paddock jackets up at 'the bridge' on a Friday night.

Those Hood jeans look the business and the price doesn't seem too bad for that they're packing in terms of armour etc
One question - how do they come up in terms of size, are they snug or generous ?

One question - how do they come up in terms of size, are they snug or generous ? They are generous on size I ordered a 36W 32L massive on me, so I asked if I could try a 34W 32L said I was happy to pay if they would refund once I sent one back. They sent the new pair without payment and return shipping label for the pair to send back was no problem just brilliant customer service.

That’s brilliant, thanks for the advice.
I emailed them earlier as my size wasn’t on their site - they came straight back telling me when they were due in and asked if I wanted an email when they were available.

Now my LC has arrived I'm thinking of getting some more suitable riding kit. Currently have a 2 piece red and black Dainese leather suit, Sidi boots and gloves, fine when I am on my Fazer Thou but not really right for riding an LC, so I shall have a look for those jeans you are talking about from Infinity M/C.
